HCA Corporate Imaging Centers

The Imaging side of the IOSD is made up of freestanding Imaging Centers, often on or near one of HCA’s hospital campuses or in strategic geographical locations to address the medical needs of the communities. These services may include some or all of the following modalities of digital imaging, as well as “flat film” or standard radiography:

• Computerized Tomography (CT) or Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT)
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Ultrasound/Echo (US)
• Positron Emission Tomography (P.E.T.)
• Mammography
• Bone Density Scans
• Nuclear Medicine

While many of these same procedures are available in the inpatient setting of hospitals, the free-standing approach can often provide these services in a manner more conducive to the ambulatory patient, and in a more cost effective manner.
